What we collect, where it goes when you ask for generated content, and how to take it all back out again.

What we collect

Account details you give us: your email address and display name.

The material you create or upload: workspaces, notes, uploaded documents and links, generated theory, illustrations, decks, quiz attempts, viva transcripts and logbook entries.

Basic usage data: pages visited, approximate country and device type, and error reports, used to keep the service working and to see which features are worth building on.

Public challenges and leaderboards

You can take a shared challenge paper without an account. If you do, we store the name or alias you type, your score and your time, and show them publicly on that challenge's table, on any firm table it counts towards, and on the weekly league.

Anyone with the link can see these tables. Use an alias if you would rather not show your real name — nothing about your account is attached to these entries.

Shared links, challenges, firm tables and the league are marked so search engines do not index them. Links you share are still visible to whoever you send them to.

What we ask you not to give us

Do not upload identifiable patient information — no names, record numbers, dates, or unredacted clinical images. Workspaces are designed for anonymised records only, and uploading identifiable data breaches our terms of use.

We do not monitor uploads for patient data and accept no responsibility for material you choose to upload; you are solely responsible for anonymising it. Identifiable material we become aware of is deleted without notice.

If identifiable data is uploaded by mistake, delete the item and contact us so any residual copies can be removed.

How your content is processed

Your material is stored in our managed database and file storage, and is only visible to you unless you deliberately share a workspace, deck or paper.

When you ask for generated content, the relevant prompt and source text are sent to third-party AI providers to produce the result. We do not send your account email with those requests, and we do not use your material to train models.

Voice features stream audio to a speech provider only while a session is running.

Cookies and local storage

We use storage on your device to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as your level and study settings. We do not run advertising trackers.

Retention

Your content is kept while your account is open. Deleting an item removes it from your workspace; deleting your account removes your profile and associated content.

Challenge scores and names are kept while the challenge, firm table or league week they belong to is live.

Backups and logs may persist for a short period afterwards before being overwritten.

Your control

You can edit or delete any item, export decks as Anki files, export notes and workspaces as documents, and delete your entire account from the account page.

To have a name removed from a public challenge, firm table or league, send us the link and the name through the contact route below.

You can also ask us for a copy of the personal data associated with your account.

Security

Access to your data is restricted per account at the database level, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No service can promise perfect security, so keep your password unique and do not share your account.

Contact

Privacy questions and data requests can be sent through the contact route published on the site.
