Terms of use

Plain terms for an educational workspace. Read the acceptable use and AI sections in particular — they matter most in a clinical setting.

Last updated 20 August 2026

What this service is

Angiosome by The Plastics Fella is an educational workspace for people training and working in plastic surgery. It helps you turn papers, cases, notes and questions into theory, illustrations, flashcards, quizzes and mock viva practice.

It is a study tool. It is not a medical device, a clinical decision support system, or a substitute for supervision, textbooks, local guidelines or your own judgement.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter an agreement. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for everything done under your account.

If you use the service as part of a department or teaching group, you are still individually responsible for the content you add.

Patient data — zero tolerance

Never upload identifiable patient information. No names, initials, medical record or NHS numbers, dates of birth, dates of surgery, hospital identifiers, addresses, or any combination of details that could identify a person.

Never upload unredacted clinical images, photographs, scans, or operative footage showing a patient's face or identifying features. Anonymise and crop everything before it goes anywhere near a workspace.

You — not us — are solely responsible for what you upload. If you breach patient confidentiality, that responsibility and any professional, regulatory or legal consequence (including any GMC or employer process) rests entirely with you.

We do not run a clinical records system and do not monitor uploads for patient data. If we become aware of identifiable patient material, we will delete it without notice and may suspend or close the account immediately.

If you upload identifiable data by mistake, delete it at once and contact us so any residual copies can be purged.

Education only

This is a study tool for training and revision. It is not a medical device, not a clinical decision support system, not a patient record, and not a source of medical advice.

Nothing generated, marked or suggested by the service may be used to inform the care of any patient. Clinical decisions belong to you and your supervising clinicians, guided by primary sources, local protocols and your own judgement.

We make no representation that any content — including AI-generated theory, illustrations, marking or feedback — is accurate, complete or current.

Acceptable use

Do not upload material you have no right to share, attempt to break or overload the service, scrape it at scale, or resell access to it.

Accounts that breach these rules can be suspended or closed, and we may remove any content at our discretion.

AI-generated content

Parts of the service generate text, illustrations, questions and marking using AI models. Generated content can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when it reads confidently.

Always check generated material against a primary source before relying on it, and never act on it clinically. AI output is revision material, not evidence.

Third-party figures and links

Some answers surface figures, papers and videos found on the open web. Those materials belong to their original authors and publishers, are shown for study and reference with the source named and linked, and are never presented as ours.

We filter out stock-photo libraries and re-upload sites, but we do not warrant the licence status of any third-party material. If you want to reuse a figure beyond your own study, get permission from its rights holder.

Copyright and takedown

We respect copyright. If you own material that appears here and you want it removed, contact us with the page, a description of the work and confirmation that you hold the rights, and we will remove or replace it promptly.

We remove infringing material uploaded by users on the same basis, and repeat infringers lose their accounts.

Your content

You keep ownership of the material you upload and the work you build. You grant us the limited permission needed to store it, process it and show it back to you and to anyone you deliberately share it with.

You can export your decks to Anki and your notes and workspaces as documents at any time, and you can delete your account from the account page.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. Features can change, and access can be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date on this page, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for clinical decisions, exam outcomes, lost work, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
